Draft for review: not in force yet
Refund policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
The short version: within 14 days of a payment, we refund the part you haven't used. Credits for anything Snip couldn't make come back by themselves.
Within 14 days, the part you haven't used
Ask within 14 days of any payment (a plan's month or year, a renewal, a credit pack, or the charge for moving up a plan), and we refund the part you haven't used: what you paid, less the credits you've spent from it. Say you bought Pro for $19 and used 600 of its 3,000 credits: you get $15.20 back. A yearly plan counts the same way, over its year of credits.
When Snip can't make something
Nothing to ask: if Snip can't make something you paid for, like more clips than your footage has strong moments for, its credits come back to your account by themselves.
How to ask
Write to support@clipclip.io with your receipt's order number or the email you paid with. Or ask Paddle at paddle.net: Paddle sells ClipClip for us and handles every payment and refund. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with.
After a refund
The credits that payment brought and you haven't used leave your account. If it was a plan's payment, we cancel the plan too, so it isn't charged again.
Cancelling
Cancel a plan any time in your account, in one click: it runs to the end of what you paid for and isn't charged again. Cancelling doesn't refund the current period by itself: within 14 days of its payment, ask us for the part you haven't used.
A problem with a payment?
Write to us or Paddle before asking your bank to reverse a payment: it's faster, and we'll sort it out. This policy adds to the rights the law gives you, and never takes them away (our terms, section 8).
