Draft for review: not in force yet

Terms of service

Last updated 30 October 2026

The short version: use ClipClip for your own games, check what Snip makes before you post it, and you keep the rights to everything you make. Paddle handles payments. Cancel any time, in one click.

1. What ClipClip is

ClipClip (“ClipClip for Roblox”, at clipclip.io) turns gameplay of your Roblox game into short videos for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, thumbnails, and the video Roblox plays on your game's page. With a paid plan, its Ad Manager can also run your game's ads on Roblox. These terms are the agreement between you and us (section 15): by using ClipClip, you agree to them.

ClipClip isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation or TikTok.

2. Who can use it

You must be 13 or older. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and they accept these terms for you. One free account per person.

3. Your account

You sign in with your Roblox or Google account. Keep that account safe: you're responsible for what happens in your ClipClip account. If you think someone else got in, write to support@clipclip.io.

4. Your game and your footage

  • Use ClipClip only for games you made or may promote, with footage you recorded or have the rights to.
  • You keep every right to your game, your footage, and the clips, thumbnails and videos Snip makes for you. You let us use them only to run ClipClip for you: to store them, to have our AI providers read and edit them, and to show them to you.
  • We never post anything for you without your say-so, and we never use what we make for you in our own marketing without asking you first.

5. Clips, thumbnails, AI and songs

  • Snip makes your clips, thumbnails and page videos with AI, from your own gameplay. AI can get things wrong: watch and check everything before you post or upload it. You're responsible for what you post, and where.
  • Thumbnails are drawn by an AI image model from frames of your gameplay, or from your own idea when you write one. Write ideas only for your own game, and never ask for anything sexual or suggestive, hateful or gory, or for a real person's face or likeness.
  • We never put songs in your video files. When we suggest a trending song, you add it in TikTok, under TikTok's own license.
  • We build every clip to get views, but nobody can promise views, players or results, and neither do we.

6. Connecting your Roblox account

  • Some pages ask you to connect your Roblox account, on Roblox's own page, for the games you pick and only the permissions that page needs. We never ask for your Roblox password or an API key.
  • With your connection, ClipClip publishes your game's name and description when you press Publish, reads your game's numbers for Analytics, and runs your game's ads if you turn on the Ad Manager (section 7). It does nothing else with it.
  • Disconnect any time in ClipClip: we delete Roblox's keys and end them at Roblox too. Roblox's own terms apply to what happens on Roblox.

7. The Ad Manager

  • On a paid plan, when you turn it on, Snip runs ads for your game in your own Roblox ad account, through Roblox's ads tools, and tests your thumbnails in them: yours, and Snip's own if you let it make them, at the usual credits.
  • You set the most it may spend in a month, and you pay Roblox directly, by card or with ad credit, under Roblox's terms. That money never goes through ClipClip, and ClipClip sells no advertising.
  • Snip sets each ad's budget to stay within your monthly limit, and every ad it makes ends by itself within two weeks. Roblox decides whether your ads run and what they cost, and nobody can promise how many players they bring.
  • Pause it or change your limit any time, in its settings. Your ads must follow Roblox's rules.

8. Plans, credits and payments

  • The free plan: every month, counted from the day you signed up, your first recording's clips (up to 4, with “Made with ClipClip”) and 1 thumbnail. Unused free items don't carry over.
  • Paid plans (Pro and Max, paid monthly or yearly) renew by themselves at the end of each period until you cancel. Every month of a plan, a yearly one included, brings its credits: 3,000 on Pro, 9,000 on Max.
  • Credits pay for what Snip makes. Each item's price in credits shows on the pricing page and on every Make button, and is taken when you ask for it; the credits for anything Snip couldn't make come back by themselves. A plan's credits are used first and reset each month, so unused ones don't carry over, and they end with the plan. Credits from packs never expire.
  • Credits aren't money: they have no cash value, and they can't be sold, exchanged, moved to another account or paid out.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, taxes, receipts and refunds, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase.
  • Cancel any time in your account, in one click. Your plan runs to the end of what you paid for, with its credits, and isn't charged again. Credits from packs stay yours.
  • Switching plans: moving up charges the difference for the time left and adds the extra credits at once; moving down applies from your next period; switching between monthly and yearly starts a new period that day.
  • Refunds: within 14 days of a payment, we refund the part you haven't used (our refund policy).
  • Prices show before you pay, with taxes where they apply. If a price changes, we tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel first.

9. Invites

  • You can invite people to ClipClip with your invite link. When someone creates a new ClipClip account through your link, makes their first payment and keeps it for 14 days, you and they each get 1,000 credits.
  • Credits from invites have no cash value. They can't be sold, exchanged, moved to another account or paid out, and they follow the same rules as pack credits. Each account can be invited once, at sign-up, by one person.
  • Invites don't count, and credits from them can be taken back, if the payment is refunded or disputed, or if the invite comes from you or someone acting for you: the same browser, payment method or email, or a second account of yours.
  • Share your link only with people who'd want it. Don't send it unasked, post it where the rules forbid it (Roblox experiences included), list it on coupon or deal sites, use it in paid ads, or bid on “ClipClip” in search ads. When you post your link publicly, say that you get credits when people join through it.
  • We may switch off links and take back credits that break these rules, and we may change or end invites at any time. Credits already landed stay yours.

10. Fair use

Don't use ClipClip to:

  • break the law or anyone's rights, including other people's games, footage, music or characters;
  • make or share anything sexual or suggestive, hateful, harassing or gory, or anything showing a real person without their consent;
  • impersonate anyone, or make misleading ads;
  • overload, attack, scrape, copy or resell the service, or get around its limits, like extra accounts for more free items;
  • break the rules of Roblox or of the apps you post to.

We may suspend or close an account that does, that puts ClipClip or other people at risk, or whose payments fail or are reversed.

11. Feedback

Ideas and feedback you send us are welcome: we may use them to improve ClipClip, without owing you anything for them.

12. Changes and leaving

We may change ClipClip or these terms; if a change matters to you, we'll tell you before it applies. You can stop using ClipClip any time, and have your account deleted by writing to support@clipclip.io (our privacy policy says what's kept and for how long).

13. What's ours

ClipClip, Snip and everything we built are ours. While your account is open, you may use them to market your games, as these terms allow.

14. Our responsibility

We work to keep ClipClip running and right, but it's provided as it is: we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.

15. Who we are, and the law

ClipClip is run by Anthony Chen EI (SIREN 923 836 381), France (“we”): your agreement is with us. Our address and phone are in our legal notice. These terms follow the law of France; if you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law where you live. Questions: support@clipclip.io.
